Lake Chesdin, Virginia Fishing

Location and Fishing Information: Chesdin Lake is located in Chesterfield, Dinwiddie and Amelia Counties, Virginia. This body of water covers just under 3,100 acres of surface area and was created in 1968. This lake is home not only to recreational boaters but also very good waters for fishing.

Species Regulations

Bass: 5 per day, only 2 can be less than 14 inches.

Striped Bass: 4 per day no less than 20 inches.

Bluegill: 50 per day no length restrictions.

Catfish: 20 per day no length restrictions.

Crappie: 25 per day no length restrictions.

Walleye: 5 per day with no length restrictions.

White Perch: No length or Creel limit.

Other Non-Gamefish: Certain Restrictions Apply.
