East Lynn Lake, West Virginia Fishing
Location and Information: Located in Wayne County a reasonable 22 miles from Huntington, East Lynn Lake is one of West Virginia’s largest fishing lakes. Sitting at a respectable 1,005 acres, it is considerably smaller than a few of WV’s biggest lakes (Sutton, Stonewall Jackson, Summersville, Bluestone) but larger than the majority of others.
The lake was constructed in 1970 and provides the Mountain State with plenty of recreational opportunities. Night fishing and camping are allowed here, as well as the use of live minnows as bait.
Anglers looking for a peaceful fishing experience should note that there is no horsepower restriction enforced, however.
