Location and Fishing Information: Lake Hartwell has an average depth of 45 feet and a maximum depth around 180 feet. This body of water is a hot spot not only for recreational boating but fishing as well. It is located in Anderson County and covers approximately 33,600 surface acres. Lake Hartwell gets its name after Nancy Morgan Hart.

Blue Catfish: No more than one 36 inch Blue can be taken from Lake Marion or Moultrie in the same day.

Striped Bass: No more than 10 fish in one day.
