US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntington District
You are invited to participate in a public meeting regarding preparation of a Regional Master Plan and Integrated Environmental Assessment for fifteen projects in the Muskingum River Basin.
A Master Plan is the strategic land use management document that guides the management and development of all recreational, natural, and cultural resources within the water resource development project for the next 15 to 25 years.
Public participation is critical to the successful revision of the Master Plan. USACE manages these projects in collaboration with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District which manages over 50,000 acres in the watershed. This Master Plan will address lands that are managed by USACE.
Public Meeting Times and Dates
Three virtual meetings will be held to provide information on the planning process and to let you know how you can provide input. Each meeting will address five projects as follows.
June 28, 2021: Leesville, Atwood, and Beach City Lakes and Bolivar and Dover Dams
June 29, 2021: Tappan, Piedmont, Clendening, Wills Creek, and Senecaville Lakes
June 30, 2021: Charles Mill, Pleasant Hill, and North Branch Kokosing River Lakes and Mohicanville and Mohawk Dams
All meetings may be heard via telephone on the phone number listed below. Although not required to hear the call, webinars will be held during the same time so that callers can see the presentations.
