New Virginia State Record Spotted Bass

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries announced via social media on February 3rd that the state had a new state record spotted bass.
The new record, caught by Cliffton Joel Hamilton, was caught in January. He pulled his catch while fishing on Claytor Lake.
Hamilton’s record weighed in at a respectable 4 pounds, 12 ounces.
