Location and Fishing Information: Atwood Lake is located within Carrol and Tuscarawas Counties in eastern Ohio. It was formed in 1939 and is one of the lakes that make up the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District. The lake encompasses a total of 1,540 acres. While smaller than other popular lakes like Seneca, Pymatuning, and Lake Erie, Atwood is still a popular fishing destination in eastern Ohio.
