The happy couple, Lonnie and Pam Harris, have a history that spans multiple decades.
While attending high school together in Florida, Lonnie asked Pam on a date 37 years ago.
Unfortunately, Pam declined.
Like any avid fisherman, Lonnie never gave up hope of catching “the one that got away.”
After reconnecting on Facebook several years ago and planning the wedding, the decision was made to hold the ceremony at the Bass Pro Shops store where Pam works.
With out-of-town family, associates, and casual shoppers on hand, the couple took their vows.
Surprisingly, this is not the first time a wedding has taken place on site. Another couple was married at the store roughly seven years ago.
If you’re considering holding your wedding at Bass Pro Shops, the Tennessee location is open to the idea. The only catch is that the store will continue running operations during the ceremony.
