Big Manistique Lake, Michigan Fishing

Location and Information: Manistique Lake is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Michigan. It is located in Luce and Mackinac Counties and has a surface area of 10,129 acres. This lake is surrounded by the Great lakes with Lake Michigan to its south, Lake Superior to the north and Lake Huron to the East. Manistique is known to offer some of the best fishing in Michigan. It is also a popular lake for adventure boating with numerous hotels and lodging and accommodations located nearby. The lake has a max depth of 20 feet with the average being 10 feet and a length just under 7 miles long. There are quite a few islands on this lake as well.
