Location and Information: Black Lake is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Michigan. It is located in Cheboygan and Presque Isle Counties and has a surface area of 10,129 acres. This lake is the seventh largest of inland lakes in Michigan. There is a maximum depth of approximately 50 feet and has an average of 23 feet.

Lake Sturgeon: First Sat. in February to the following Wednesday or until your limit is caught. There is no size limit.
Trout: State Limits Apply
Walleye: 15” minimum- 5 per angler
Northern Pike: 24” minimum- 2 per angler
