Cass Lake, Michigan Fishing

Location and Information: Cass Lake is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Michigan. It is located in Oakland County and has a surface area of just under 1,300 acres. This lake is home to multiple different species of fish. This lake has a max depth of around 122 feet. This lake is home to very good ice fishing.

You can find Bluegill, Rock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Black Crappie, Lake Trout, Muskie, Walleye and Yellow Perch.

Largemouth Bass: Must be at least 14”- Limit 5

Smallmouth Bass: Minimum of 14″- Limit 5 Per Angler

Walleye: 15” minimum- 5 per angler

Yellow Perch: 25” minimum- 5 per angler

Northern Pike: 24” minimum- 2 per angler
