Craig Lake, Michigan Fishing

Location and Information: Craig Lake is located in Baraga County and covers just over 300 acres of surface area. The max depth on this lake is around 27 feet and an average depth of 20 feet. There are a multitude of different species to pull in here.

This Lake Species List: According to the Michigan  Department of Natural Resources, this lake contains numerous species of popular fish. So, what type of fish are in this Lake? You can find Bluegill, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Black Crappie, Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye and Yellow Perch.

Northern Pike: 24” minimum- 2 per angler

Smallmouth Bass: Minimum of 14″- Limit 5 Per Angler

Walleye: 15” minimum- 5 per angler

Yellow Perch: 25 Limit- There is no size limit

Muskellunge:  1 per angler April 1st to March 31st

Black Crappie: State Limits Apply

Bluegill: State Limits Apply

Rock Bass: State Limits Apply
