Fletcher Pond Fishing Information

Location and Information: Fletcher Pond is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Michigan. It is located in Alpena County and has a surface area just over 9, 000 acres. The Lake was built in 1931 by damming the Thunder Bay River. It was named after one of the founders of Alpena, George Fletcher. There is a maximum depth approximately 12 feet deep and an average depth around 8 feet.
