Location and Information: Lake Michigamme is one of the most popular fishing lakes in Michigan. It is located in Marquette and Baraga Counties and has a surface area of just under 4,300 acres. this lake has a max depth around 69 feet. The lakes gets its name from Native American language and it means “Large Lake”
