Fishing Information: Walloon Lake is a popular lake in Michigan. It is located in Charlevoix and Emmet Counties and covers just over 4,300 acres. The lake has a max depth of around 100 feet and a length of 9 miles. The lake is thought to have gotten its name from a group of Belgium settlers who were referred to as Walloons. There are multiple different species of fish on this lake.

You can find Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Muskie, Northern Pike, Rock bass, Rainbow Trout, Walleye and Yellow Perch on these waters.

Smallmouth Bass: Must be at least 14”- Limit 5

Northern Pike: 24” minimum- 2 per angler

Muskellunge:  1 per angler April 1st to March 31st

Walleye: 15” minimum- 5 per angler

Yellow Perch: State Limits Apply

Rock Bass: N/A

Trout: State Limits Apply

Bluegill: state Limits Apply
