Wixom Lake, Michigan Fishing
Location and Information: Wixom Lake is a fairly decent sized lake located in Gladwin County. This lake covers just under 2,000 acres and has a max depth of 40 feet. The gets its name after Frank Wixom who played a key role in the damming of the lake in the 1930s. The lake has multiple different species of fish to catch.

You can find Bluegill, Rock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Black Crappie, Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye and Yellow Perch.
Northern Pike: 24” minimum- 2 per angler
Largemouth Bass: Must be at least 14”- Limit 5
Smallmouth Bass: Minimum of 14″- Limit 5 Per Angler
Walleye: 15” minimum- 5 per angler
Yellow Perch: State Limits Apply
Muskellunge: 1 per angler April 1st to March 31st
Black Crappie: State Limits Apply
Bluegill: State Limits Apply
Rock Bass: State Limits Apply
