Fishing for Big Bass on Dale Hollow Lake

Marshall University’s Chase Sansom regularly finds himself fishing some of the top lakes in the eastern United States. Recently, he and a partner tackled Kentucky’s famed Dale Hollow Lake in search of some big bass!

Many anglers-in-the-know recognize Dale Hollow as one of the best fishing lakes in Kentucky. It is not only home to Kentucky’s state record smallmouth bass, but also the world record! Sitting in both southern Kentucky and northern Tennessee, Dale Hollow remains one of the area’s most popular fishing destinations.

Largemouth were on tap during this trip, however. As you will see in the video below, the fish did not disappoint!

The duo manage to haul in some healthy numbers using an umbrella rig setup.
