Popular Fishing Species Throughout the States
Ohio is known to have excellent fishing for numerous freshwater species. Discounting Lake Erie and the Ohio River, which were named two of our top fishing spots in Ohio, most lakes featured below excel for only a few species. That said, if you do your research and look hard enough, you can find great largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie, muskie, walleye, catfish, and carp fishing throughout the state.
