Christopher Jones was the event’s big winner, bringing him both first-place honors and the event’s big bass.

Jones’ three-fish limit measured 49.5 inches — one of which was the 18 inch big bass. The total prize pool for the event was $360.

Second and third places went to brothers Chuy and Carlos Ramos, respectively.

Chuy’s 3-fish limit measured 40.25 inches, while Carlos hauled in 33.45 inches. They each took home packages including jigs and soft plastics.

Eddins told us that the morning was overcast with slight winds and a light drizzle. By midday, conditions included “blue-bird skies” with temperatures up to 101 degrees and no wind.
